LARGE FIRE: Use water fog spray or alcohol resistant foam. Do not use water jet Special fire-fighting procedures        : Fire fighters should wear positive pressure self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) .

Unusual fire/explosion hazards     : In case of fire toxic fumes might be formed. In case of fire and/ or explosion do not breathe fumes. Containers may rupture from pressure build- up Hazardous thermal decomposition : Carbon monoxide (CO) possible where incomplete combustion occurs.

Products

Protection of fire-fighters             : Be sure to use an approved, certified respirator or equivalent.

 6. Accidental Release Measures

Small spill and leak                     : Wear appropriate protective clothing to prevent skin contact. Wear appropriate respirator when ventilation is inadequate. Avoid breathing vapors of this product. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Avoid all possible sources of  ignition (spark or flame). Keep unnecessary people away from spill area. Clean up spills immediately. Absorb with liquid-binding material (sand   or spill kit). Place in suitable clean, dry containers for disposal by approved methods.

Large spill and leak                      : Do not clean-up or dispose except under supervision of a specialist. Eliminate all ignition sources. For large spills like spilled material or otherwise contain material to ensure runoff does not reach a water way. Keep unnecessary people awayfrom spill area. Follow company spill response procedures. Clean up spills immediately. Wear protective eyeglasses or chemical safety goggles and face protection. Contact lenses are not protection devices. Appropriate eye protection must be worn instead of, or in conjunction with contact lenses .Wear approved self contained breathing apparatus or equivalent and full protective gear. Wear appropriate protective clothing to prevent skin contact. Place spilled  material in an  appropriate container for disposal Dispose off according to all federal, state and local  applicable regulations.

7. Handling and Storage

Handling                                   : Danger of dust explosion, solid resins as supplied do not normally present a hazard, How ever electrostatic charges may be generated during handling for example when crushing, grinding and sewing or emptying bags. Consequently all equipments should be earthed properly. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Avoid breathing dust. Wash thoroughly after handling. Ground and bond containers when transferring material to prevent dust explosion. Minimize dusty generation and accumulation.

Storage                                    : The resin should be stored in the original, unopened and undamaged container in a dry place at storage temperature between 25-30˚C Exposure to direct sunlight should be avoided. Under these conditions, the resin will have a storage life of atleast one year.

 8. Exposure Control/Personal Protection

Occupational

Exposure limits                             : Although no exposure limit has been established for the resin.

Engineering Controls              :   Use process enclosures, local exhaust ventilation, or other engineering controls to keep air borne levels below recommended exposure limits. If user operation generate dust fume or mist, use ventilation to keep exposure to air borne contaminants below the exposure limit. Avoid dust accumulation.

Personal Protection

Ventilation                               : Good general ventilation should be sufficient to control air borne levels.

Respiratory System                  : Wear appropriate respirator when ventilation is inadequate.

Skin Contact                            : Use chemical resistant, PVC gloves, work uniform or laboratory coat.

Eyes                                       : Safety glasses with side shields or chemical splash goggles.
